Sri Lanka's home for live cultural broadcasts

Tv Samadhi — known to its community as Samadhi Live — began as a single Facebook profile in Matara, Sri Lanka, sharing live coverage of local cultural events. As more people tuned in, that profile was converted into a full Facebook Page, and Samadhi Live kept growing from there.

Today we broadcast traditional Sanniya ritual dance dramas, cultural pageants from venues like the Kirinda Cultural Center, live music segments, and community events — often streaming for hours at a time, start to finish, for viewers who can't make it there in person.

It isn't only entertainment. Some of our broadcasts support community fundraising efforts, like appeals for local temple construction projects, letting people take part and contribute wherever they are.

That community-first approach is how a single live feed grew into a channel followed by more than 11,000 people on Facebook — and it's still the same idea driving every broadcast today: bring Sri Lanka's live cultural moments to anyone who wants to watch.
